Lebanese media report unusual Israeli airstrike deep inside Lebanon

Lebanese media reported this morning, Thursday, on an airstrike attributed to the Israeli Air Force, carried out at a particularly deep point inside the country. According to the reports, the target of the strike was in the area around the village of Khazin, located west of the central city of Baalbek. The area is considered part of the Shiite district in northeastern Lebanon, about 80 kilometers from the official border with Israel, a distance that indicates an escalation and a strike deep inside Lebanese territory, far from the villages near the southern border.

Fire in the wheat fields

According to the initial information received from the scene, the force of the explosions and the blast from the strike in the vicinity of Khazin caused massive fires, which consumed extensive agricultural areas and wheat fields in the region. It should be noted that just a few days ago, Iran threatened that if Israel attacked in Lebanon, it would resume firing missiles at it. However, Israel continues to strike as usual, and Iran's threat has not materialized.
