Zeelander Unveils Silent, High-Speed 24-Meter Luxury Yacht Zeelander 8 Solea
Dutch shipyard Zeelander Yachts has introduced the Zeelander 8 Solea, a 24-meter luxury yacht combining high speed, refined design, and exceptional quietness. The yacht is the most powerful and fastest model in the Zeelander 8 series, reaching speeds up to 40 knots during sea trials. It is powered by four Volvo Penta IPS-1350 engines delivering a combined 4,000 horsepower.
Despite its speed, the yacht maintains an impressively low noise level of about 65 decibels inside the cabin, comparable to a normal conversation. This quietness is a key feature that distinguishes the Solea from other fast yachts. The vessel was custom-built for an experienced owner familiar with Zeelander models, designed for extended stays on board with a focus on comfort, hosting, and work.
The interior features a large dining table, an open kitchen, and a lounge area connected to the rear deck through the brand’s signature rounded window. The design incorporates rare Swamp oak wood and luxury leather in a Porsche Agate-inspired color, creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere rather than a showroom feel.
Functionality is also emphasized, with a cruising range of approximately 630 nautical miles at 32 knots and up to 2,700 nautical miles at an economical speed of 7 knots. Additional amenities include a side storage compartment for a Williams 435 Jet Tender and equipment such as Seabobs and Flyboards, enhancing the yacht’s versatility for long voyages and leisure activities.
