Israeli Air Force Strikes Hezbollah Command Posts in Southern Lebanon After Attacks on IDF Forces

Following a US-brokered understanding agreement between Lebanon and Israel, Hezbollah appears determined to undermine the deal. On Sunday night, the Israeli Air Force targeted three Hezbollah command posts in the Nabatiyeh and Mayfadoun areas of southern Lebanon. These strikes were carried out in response to ongoing attacks by Hezbollah on Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) operating in the security zone.

Earlier on Sunday, the IDF's multi-dimensional unit destroyed a Hezbollah launcher that was actively attempting to attack Israeli forces. The IDF stated, "The IDF will continue to act to remove any threat to its forces and will not allow the terrorist organization Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians."

On the previous day, Saturday, the Egoz unit under the command of Division 36 identified several armed Hezbollah militants equipped with RPGs near the Nabatiyeh area, close to the security zone where IDF forces operate in southern Lebanon. Following the identification, the Israeli Air Force, guided by ground forces, struck and eliminated the militants and the building they were operating from to neutralize the threat. Additionally, on Saturday, the multi-dimensional unit destroyed another Hezbollah launcher posing a danger to Israeli troops.
