Fattal Group Launches New Luxury Hotels Abroad and Announces Airline Partnerships

The Fattal hotel group has expanded its luxury portfolio with two new properties under its Leonardo Limited Edition brand. The MERAVIA hotel, an adults-only (16+) resort, opened in Halkidiki, Greece, featuring contemporary architecture and a private beach along the Aegean Sea. Acquired for approximately 50 million euros, MERAVIA is located on the sought-after Kassandra Peninsula near the village of Afytos, about 30 minutes from Thessaloniki airport. It offers a blend of authentic local atmosphere and upscale resort amenities focused on privacy and tranquility.

Additionally, the NALU suite hotel for families has opened in Latchi, Cyprus, further enriching Fattal's luxury collection across Europe and the Mediterranean. These properties complement the Fattal Limited Edition brand in Israel, emphasizing curated, high-end hospitality experiences.

In aviation news, German airline Condor plans to resume flights between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv starting August 2026, contingent on geopolitical developments. This marks a significant return as Condor’s inaugural flight in 1956 was from Frankfurt to Israel. The airline will offer Israeli travelers convenient connections to destinations across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Indian Ocean. TAL Aviation will manage Condor’s sales, marketing, and PR efforts in Israel to boost brand awareness.

Separately, Israeli airline Arkia has appointed singer and creator Lehi Toldano as its new brand ambassador. Toldano will spearhead Arkia’s marketing campaigns during a period of growth and renewal. Arkia is expanding its fleet to 19 aircraft this summer, including four wide-body planes, and flying to over 40 global destinations. The airline is enhancing its long-haul network with direct flights to New York, Bangkok, Hanoi, Saigon, Phuket, and will add Tokyo in October, a highly requested destination among Israeli travelers.
