Fattal Group Launches New Luxury Hotels in Greece and Cyprus
The Fattal hotel group has expanded its luxury Leonardo Limited Edition collection with two new properties abroad. The MERAVIA hotel, an adults-only (16+) resort, opened in Halkidiki, Greece, featuring contemporary architecture along a private beach on the Kassandra Peninsula near Afytos village. Acquired for approximately 50 million euros, MERAVIA offers a blend of local authenticity and upscale Mediterranean hospitality with an emphasis on privacy and tranquility.
Additionally, the NALU suite hotel for families has launched in Latsi, Cyprus, further broadening Fattal's presence in the Mediterranean luxury market. Both hotels are part of the Leonardo Limited Edition brand, which parallels the Fattal Limited Edition collection in Israel, known for curated high-end experiences.
Separately, German airline Condor plans to resume flights between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv starting August 2026, contingent on geopolitical developments. This marks a significant return as Condor’s inaugural flight in 1956 connected these cities. The airline will offer Israeli travelers expanded connectivity to Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Indian Ocean region, supported by TAL Aviation for marketing and sales in Israel.
In other travel news, Israeli airline Arkia has appointed singer and creator Lehi Toldano as its new brand ambassador. Toldano will front Arkia’s marketing campaigns during a period of growth and renewal for the company. Arkia will operate 19 aircraft this summer, including four wide-body jets, flying to over 40 global destinations. The airline is expanding long-haul routes with direct flights to New York, Bangkok, Hanoi, Saigon, Phuket, and will add Tokyo in October, a highly anticipated destination for Israeli travelers.
