Indian Influencer's Home Burglarized After Flaunting Wealth Online
Rachna Gorjar, an Indian social media influencer from Shibpuri district in Madhya Pradesh with nearly 100,000 followers, was robbed in her home after showcasing cash and jewelry in her videos. The break-in occurred late at night while Gorjar and her family were asleep. Several masked intruders entered the house, locked the family members in their rooms, and stole valuables including gold and silver jewelry, cash, and even a box of soft drinks.
The incident was discovered around 4 a.m. when Gorjar and her husband found their bedroom door locked and called relatives nearby to help free them. Upon exiting, they realized the extent of the theft. The stolen property is estimated to be worth between 800,000 and 1,000,000 Indian rupees (approximately $8,000 to $10,500).
The burglars attempted to avoid identification by adjusting the angles of the home security cameras to obscure their faces. However, police are reviewing the remaining footage and investigating the suspects. Authorities are also examining whether Gorjar's recent social media posts displaying her wealth made her an easy target for the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
