Beitar Jerusalem Launches New Kit and Brand Ahead of Promising 2026/27 Season
Beitar Jerusalem is optimistic about the upcoming 2026/27 football season following the launch of their new kits and the unveiling of their official clothing brand, BJR. The event took place on Sunday evening with the entire team present, including new coach Almog Cohen and CEO Kfir Edri, though owner Barak Abramov was absent due to personal reasons. A club source expressed confidence, stating, "There will be a very good team here, better than last season, and everyone is committed to the club's success."
The club introduced four new signings: Eugene Ansa, Tomer Yosefi, Tomer Mocha, and Daniel Vorko. Beitar is currently focusing on acquiring an additional striker and a defensive midfielder. Midfielder Dan Glazer remains a key target despite interest from Maccabi Netanya and Maccabi Tel Aviv. The club maintains that negotiations are ongoing and that joining Beitar remains a viable option for Glazer.
Glazer's decision will significantly influence Beitar's roster strategy. If Kairat's midfielder agrees to join, the club will prioritize signing an attacking midfielder and a striker. If Glazer does not arrive, Beitar plans to recruit a high-caliber foreign defensive midfielder.
Beitar Jerusalem will depart in two days for a 10-day training camp in Pravets, Bulgaria. The team has scheduled two friendly matches during the camp: on July 3 against Bulgarian club Botev Vratsa and on July 7 against Arda Kardzhali, a team they also faced during last season's training camp in Bulgaria.
