Strategist Predicts Naftali Bennett May Quit Politics Amid Poll Decline

Naftali Bennett has experienced a significant drop in political support in recent polls, prompting unusual speculation about his future in politics. Strategic advisor and campaign manager Nevo Cohen suggested that if Bennett's decline continues, he might decide to retire from political life. Cohen noted that both Bennett and Yair Lapid are currently polling in single digits individually, and soon discussions will focus on when their combined support falls below 10%.

Cohen further predicted that Bennett will completely withdraw from politics, emphasizing that there is no reason for Gadi Eizenkot to take Bennett as his number two. Recently, Bennett has lost many seats, with most of his support shifting to Eizenkot, who has emerged as the leading candidate in the center-left bloc. This decline has caused tension within the Yachdav party, including reports of Bennett's desire to part ways with Lapid.
