Yaniv Levy Steps Down After 13 Years as Head of Histadrut Public Relations

Yaniv Levy, chairman of the Public Relations, Advertising, and Spokesperson Division at the Histadrut, has requested to end his role after 13 years of service. Levy informed Histadrut chairman Arnon Bar-David of his decision on November 3, 2025, marking the conclusion of a significant chapter in the organization's public image and crisis management efforts.

Levy joined the Histadrut in July 2013 during the tenure of then-chairman Ofer Eini. With the arrival of Avi Nissenkorn as chairman, Levy established and led the Public Relations Division for over a decade. Under Bar-David's leadership, he expanded the division's activities and played a central role in shaping the Histadrut's strategy, branding, marketing, advertising, and handling of complex national crises.

Levy holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Ono Academic College. In his farewell statement, he expressed pride in his contributions and gratitude to Bar-David, deputy chairman Arik Milman, and the entire team. He emphasized that the Histadrut will always remain a home for him and offered ongoing support to the organization.

Bar-David praised Levy's professionalism, creativity, and dedication, calling him a close friend and key partner in the organization's strategic initiatives and crisis management. He acknowledged the difficulty in accepting Levy's departure but respected his decision and anticipated future collaboration.

Levy is set to officially leave his position on August 31, 2026.
