IDF and Shin Bet Kill Three Hamas Naval Police Commanders in Central Gaza Strike

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet announced that a targeted strike in central Gaza eliminated three commanders of Hamas's naval police, including the commander of the central camps, Manzur Sami Mahmoud Shahatot. The operation took place two days ago and was carried out after the commanders were observed armed and traveling in a vehicle, posing a direct threat to Israeli forces operating in the area.

According to the IDF, Shahatot had recently been involved in planning terrorist activities against Israeli troops in Gaza. The other two commanders killed were also part of Hamas's naval police, which operates under the organization's military wing and is responsible for orchestrating and directing terrorist operations against Israel.

The IDF emphasized that the three militants were armed and moving in a manner that endangered Israeli forces, prompting the strike that successfully neutralized the threat. This operation reflects ongoing Israeli efforts to prevent attacks and maintain security along the Gaza border.
