Family and Friends Hold Emotional Memorial for Fallen IDF Officer Nohe Havshush

About a week after his death in a tank accident in southern Lebanon, Staff Sergeant Nohe Havshush was commemorated in a heartfelt memorial ceremony at the military section of Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. Family members, friends, and acquaintances gathered at his gravesite on Sunday morning to pay their respects and say their farewells.

The ceremony featured live musical performances by the Yonina couple, who played and sang songs including "Child of a Father," "Broken Heart," and "Hero of a Mother." Following the music, Havshush's comrades and relatives shared personal memories and reflections on his character, life path, and the special bonds they had with him.

Staff Sergeant Havshush was among four soldiers who died in the tragic tank accident in southern Lebanon last week. The incident also claimed the life of Lieutenant Colonel Dor Ben Shmuel, commander of the 52nd Battalion of the Armored Brigade, as well as Staff Sergeants Yoav Klein and Liav Kabbaya. Havshush was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Mount Herzl, Jerusalem, alongside his fallen comrades.
