Large Weapons Cache Found Hidden in a Water Cistern in Al-Jib
Border Police and Israel Police uncovered a substantial weapons cache hidden at the bottom of a water cistern in Al-Jib, in the Benjamin Brigade area. The operation took several nights and required pumping out the water and sending divers down to the bottom of the pit.
During the search, officers recovered sealed bags containing rifles, ammunition, mobile phones, explosive devices, and remote detonation equipment. Investigators suspect the weapons were intended for terrorist activity.
The discovery came after a complex, multi-night effort by the security forces in the village, which lies in the West Bank area under the Benjamin Brigade. No arrests or additional operational details were reported in the source.
