Eden Hason Brings Bullied 11-Year-Old Girl Onstage and Calls Her a Hero

A special moment took place at Eden Hason’s concert on Thursday evening, when he invited 11-year-old Noa Ben David onto the stage. Ben David had drawn wide attention online in recent days after posting a video about the bullying and social exclusion she experienced.

Performing before thousands of fans, Hason told her he wanted to encourage her and praised the way she has dealt with her difficulties. He said that he too went through hard times as a child and stressed the need to fight bullying and exclusion among teenagers.

Hason also described an emotional reaction to the video that led him to invite her to the concert. “A few days ago I saw a video online that hit me in the stomach and triggered something for me. I want to say good evening to Noa, who is here with us,” he said.

He praised Ben David for speaking openly and for not being afraid to be herself. “The children who tried to silence you and upset you, I want to empower you here and be proud of you for being a heroine, for being real and honest, for not being afraid to be who she is,” he said. Hason added that the audience was filled with pride and joy seeing her, then dedicated the song “Shkhiot Adumot” to her, saying it had always helped him in similar moments.
