Eden Hason Invites 11-Year-Old Bullying Victim on Stage in Emotional Concert Moment
An emotional moment unfolded Thursday night at singer Eden Hason’s show when he brought 11-year-old Noa Ben David on stage. Ben David had recently posted a video about the bullying she experienced, and the clip drew wide attention online in recent days.
Speaking before thousands in the audience, Hason said the video had hit him hard and triggered memories from his own childhood. He used the moment to encourage Ben David and to call for an end to exclusion and bullying among teenagers.
“Before a few days ago I saw a video online that gave me a punch to the stomach and triggered me,” Hason told the crowd. “I want to say good evening to Noa, who is here with us.” He then addressed the children who had tried to silence her, saying he wanted to empower her and praise her for being “brave,” “real” and honest, and for not being afraid to be herself. “I appreciate you and thank you very much for coming to this show,” he said.
Hason added that everyone watching her was filled with pride and happiness, and said he wanted to dedicate the next song to her because it had helped him in difficult moments. He ended the exchange by dedicating his hit “Shakiyot Adumot” to Ben David. The singer has become one of Israel’s most popular performers in recent years and is also known for social engagement, including visits to wounded wedding guests, soldiers and new mothers at Rambam Hospital in Haifa during the war.
