Hapoel Ramat Gan announced on Thursday evening that it has signed Farid Ibrahim, a 26-year-old left back from Ghana, subject to medical tests. The move is the newly promoted club’s fifth signing of the summer and its first foreign acquisition ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season under coach Mesai Dego.
Ibrahim, who is 1.84 meters tall, can also play as a center back or left-sided midfielder. He began his career at local side Inter Allies before moving on to Denmark’s Vejle, then to Isloch and Dinamo Minsk in Belarus, and most recently to Kazakhstan’s Irtysh Pavlodar.
Last season, Ibrahim made 12 appearances for Irtysh and 19 in all competitions, including the start of the campaign with Dinamo Minsk. He is set to finalize the contract once he passes the medical examinations.
He joins a summer recruiting list that already includes Maksim Plakushchenko, Ofek Ovedia, Idan Baranes, and Amit Tzur.
