Hapoel Ramat Gan announced on Thursday evening that it has signed Farad Ibrahim, a 26-year-old left back from Ghana, pending medical tests. The deal is expected to be completed once he passes the examinations.
Ibrahim is the club’s fifth signing of the summer and its first foreign recruit under coach Masai Dego ahead of the 2026/27 Israeli Premier League season. He joins after earlier arrivals Maksim Plakushchenko, Ofek Ovadia, Idan Barnas and Amit Tzur.
At 1.84 meters tall, Ibrahim can play not only at left back but also as a center back or left midfielder. He began his career at local side Inter Allies before moving on to teams in Denmark, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
His most recent club was Irtysh Pavlodar in Kazakhstan. Last season he made 12 appearances for Irtysh, and he totaled 19 matches in all competitions, including the start of the season with Dinamo Minsk.
