Italian reports say Anan Khalaili has been offered to Inter Milan as the club looks for a replacement for Denzel Dumfries, who is described as already headed to Real Madrid, although no official announcement has been made yet.
According to the report, Inter initially wanted Marco Palestra from Atalanta, but he signed with Chelsea, leaving the Nerazzurri still searching for a wide player who can operate on both flanks.
Gazzetta reported that Khalaili, who is also on Napoli’s radar, was presented to Inter by his representatives in recent weeks rather than being actively pursued by the club. The paper added that even if he joins, he is unlikely to be the main signing, with Inter expected to bring in a more senior player alongside him.
The report compared that possible role to Dan Ndoye of Nottingham Forest and Dodo of Fiorentina, both of whom were examined but are not expected to trigger a decisive move from Inter. Other names mentioned as candidates were Allan Saint-Maximin, formerly of Al Ittihad and Aston Villa, and Michael Kayode of Brentford. A possible return for Joao Cancelo was also considered early on, but that option has since been dropped.
