Shocking security-camera footage published Monday shows a serious crash that happened the previous night on Route 5614, near the entrance to Kalansuwa. In the video, one vehicle is seen traveling at high speed before slamming into another car that was turning left, leaving the drivers no chance to avoid impact.
Magen David Adom received the emergency call at 8:59 p.m. Rescue teams provided lifesaving treatment at the scene and evacuated two injured people to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.
A 55-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious, unstable condition with multi-system injuries. A woman in her 50s was evacuated in moderate condition with injuries to her limbs.
MDA paramedic Nadeem Assi, along with medics Noor al-Din Masarwa and Joseph Guabra, said they found the man suffering severe multi-system trauma and treated him with bleeding control, immobilization and medication before transfer. They also treated and evacuated the woman in moderate condition.
