Haredi protest convoys to stop short of Prison 10 after organizers say the event has run its course
Organizers of Haredi protest convoys opposing the arrest of IDF draft evaders said the demonstrators will not drive all the way to Prison 10 as originally planned. They said the event had been exhausted, using the Hebrew phrase that the protest had “run its course.”
According to the organizers, the convoy leaving Bnei Brak will reach Route 57 and then turn back. The other convoys will fold immediately, ending the planned vehicle protest before reaching the military prison.
The demonstration was meant to protest the detention of draft evaders from the Israel Defense Forces, but the organizers did not say that the action would continue in any other form.
