Johan Manzambi delivered the defining performance of Switzerland's World Cup campaign so far, coming off the bench in Los Angeles after 71 tense minutes and scoring twice in a 4-1 win over Bosnia. Switzerland had been in danger of another disappointment after a painful 1-1 draw with Qatar, but Manzambi changed everything immediately after the drinks break. His two goals were the first brace of his career, and at 20 years and 247 days old he became the youngest player in World Cup history to score a substitute's brace.
