Hapoel HaEmek has begun shaping its roster for next season and has identified Hapoel Tel Aviv players Bar Timor and Guy Palatin as targets. The northern club started planning immediately after the season ended on Tuesday night with Maccabi's win over Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Both players are under contract for next season, which makes any move complicated and dependent on agreements with both the clubs and the players. Even so, HaEmek is following developments closely and believes each could add significant professional value.
Timor is regarded as one of the league's most experienced Israeli players, while Palatin has established himself as one of the standout defenders in Israeli basketball. For now, there are no advanced negotiations, but both remain on the club's list of candidates.
HaEmek continues to look for ways to strengthen its backcourt before preseason training begins.
