Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir was among a long list of public figures who attended a large wedding Monday night in Kfar Chabad. The celebration was for Dabi Shilat, the daughter of Rabbi Moshe Shilat and Bracha Shilat, who married Dovi Tzirkus.
Moshe and Bracha Shilat are Chabad emissaries known for projects aimed at strengthening Jewish identity among young Israelis, including the music initiative Tzama, Chabad on Campus, and trips to the Lubavitcher Rebbe that attract many well-known Israeli personalities. The couple has eight children, and the wedding drew an unusually heavy concentration of entertainment and political figures to the village.
Among the cabinet ministers present were Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, all seen taking a break from national affairs to dance at the reception. Also in attendance were singer Avraham Fried and Israel’s Chief Rabbi Kalman Bar.
The guest list also included recently engaged model Natalie Dadon, Sharon Adam, the mother of singer Omer Adam, former Miss Israel Ravit Asaf, influencer and baker Or Spitz, designer Shlomi Dadon, journalist Sivan Rahav-Meir, journalist Chen Zender, former Big Brother winner Yuval Maatuk, and several other social media and entertainment figures.
