  • Hundreds prayed at the site of a recent terror attack.
  • The event honored Natanel Shkaron, murdered there with his son present.
  • Organizers declared the gathering a victory of life over terror.
  • Participants vowed to continue building and strengthening settlements.

Hundreds of Israelis gathered on Thursday morning at the Ein Ri'a spring near Neve Tzuf in the West Bank to hold prayers and a musical Hallel service. The event was held a week and a half after the terror attack in which Natanel Shkaron was murdered in front of his son at the same location. The gathering was a joint initiative of the Binyamin and Shomron regional councils, in cooperation with Binyamin Plus and the Ministry of Settlement and National Missions.

The prayer service featured the band "Shir Chadash" and included words of encouragement from Rabbis David Dudkevitz, Gad Mechta, and Shai Yaakovovitz. Israel Gantz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, stated that the return to the spring represents a victory for life over terror. He emphasized that the large turnout strengthens the Shkaron family and demonstrates the spirit of a people deepening its roots even amidst pain. Gantz vowed that Israelis would continue to build, strengthen settlements, and ensure security through decisive action against terror, declaring, "They will not defeat us."
