A 26-year-old man from Bnei Brak has been indicted for allegedly throwing two glass salt shakers at a table where former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett was sitting and speaking with citizens in a restaurant. The incident occurred last week in Bnei Brak.

According to police, one salt shaker struck two women on Bennett's staff, while a second glass object, similar to a salt shaker, fell near the table. Police officers and Border Police forces present at the scene immediately apprehended the suspect.

Following an investigation, the Tel Aviv District Police prosecution unit filed charges against the man for assault, attempted assault, and behavior likely to disturb the public peace. A request has also been submitted for his house arrest until the end of legal proceedings.

Police stated that they "will act with determination against acts of violence and exhaust the law with those involved."
