  • French and Kosovo ambassadors visited Kfar Chabad for Sukkot.
  • Ambassadors toured Chabad sites and attended a Hasidic gathering.
  • They discussed Chabad's international community ties.
  • Attendees sang the French national anthem together.

The French Ambassador to Israel, Christophe Frizot, made a festive visit to the village of Kfar Chabad in central Israel to celebrate the Sukkot holiday. He was hosted by the head of the Kfar Chabad village council, Rabbi Shimon Rabinowitz.

During his visit, Ambassador Frizot toured the "770" building, a central Chabad Lubavitch World Headquarters site, and the etrog orchard of the Gorlik family. He gained firsthand insight into the unique character of Kfar Chabad and the Sukkot traditions observed within the Chabad Hasidic movement.

Ambassador of Kosovo to Israel, Roey Rosenblit, later joined the visit. Both ambassadors participated in a Hasidic gathering held in Rabinowitz's sukkah, a temporary hut used during the Sukkot festival. Rabbi Chaim Prous, one of the rabbis from the Beit Hora'ah (a rabbinical court), also attended.

During the gathering, attendees, including the French ambassador, sang the French national anthem, "La Marseillaise," which is reportedly sung within Chabad Hasidism. The event fostered a holiday atmosphere and a Hasidic gathering, alongside discussions about the connections between Chabad and Jewish communities worldwide.
