Following an incident on FlyDubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv, Israeli airlines are planning evacuation flights for Israeli citizens stranded in the United Arab Emirates on Friday, October 2.

According to i24NEWS, Shin Bet personnel are expected to arrive in Dubai to oversee the security arrangements for these flights. Many Israelis currently in Dubai have not yet received information on how they will be able to return home.

FlyDubai has suspended flights to Israel and launched an internal investigation into the circumstances of the incident on flight FZ1073 on September 30. The UAE's Attorney General has ordered the creation of a special investigative team to look into the matter.

Meanwhile, Emirates and Etihad airlines are considering increasing the number of flights to provide additional air travel between the UAE and Israel. Etihad currently operates two daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Israel.
