Tens of thousands of worshippers convened at the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem on Thursday for the second traditional Priestly Blessing ceremony of the Sukkot intermediate days (Chol HaMoed). The event, which included morning prayers and the priestly blessing, also featured prayers for the safety of IDF soldiers and security forces, for the recovery of the wounded, and for the unity of the Israeli people.

The first Priestly Blessing ceremony of the holiday took place on Monday, drawing a large crowd that included government ministers, the mayor of Jerusalem, the police commissioner, and families who lost loved ones in the recent conflict. The morning prayers began at 8:45 AM, with the first blessing at 9:15 AM. Additional prayers, including Musaf, were scheduled throughout the morning, with the second Priestly Blessing at 10:30 AM, followed by a special prayer for the IDF and security forces at 10:45 AM.
