Celebrities Flock to Coca-Cola Diner Pop-Up in Tel Aviv

The Coca-Cola Diner pop-up event returned to Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv for the second consecutive year, offering a four-day experience combining American diner-inspired food, live performances, and a retro atmosphere. The event, running from September 29 to October 2 during the intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday, featured culinary creations from five prominent Israeli chefs: Haim Cohen, Moshik Roth, Guy Gamzo, Yarden Shi, and pastry chef Moran Gil. Each chef presented their unique take on diner classics, with offerings including crispy wings and beef cuts by Cohen, a pulled-meat burger and fries by Roth, an Asian-twist chicken sandwich by Gamzo, a pretzel hot dog and chicken taco by Shi, and a lemon tart with lotus and Italian meringue by Gil.

Beyond the food, the diner hosted live musical performances throughout its duration. The opening night featured artists Peled and Liran Danino. Subsequent nights included performances by Shira Zargari and Agam Buhbut, Yasmin Moalem and Ran Danker, and concluded with Noam Batun. Among the notable attendees spotted enjoying the festivities were actresses Hadar Shiri, Nadir Eliyahu, and Liel Eli.

Shiri, whose personal life has recently garnered attention, was playfully questioned about bringing a date to the event next time, to which she responded with a smile, "How did you sneak that one past me?" Her brief, lighthearted reply became a memorable moment of the evening. The Coca-Cola Diner event is part of a larger "Diner Month" initiative by Coca-Cola, involving over 200 businesses and chains across Israel offering special menus and dishes. The Hangar 11 venue was transformed into a full diner experience with retro decor, red booths, music, and food, aiming to recreate the quintessential American diner ambiance.
