Takuma Movement Launches Campaign to Boost Right-Wing Voter Turnout

The Takuma Movement has launched a new campaign aimed at increasing voter turnout among those identifying with the national camp, particularly in areas where previous election participation was lower. The initiative will involve public outreach and ground activists leading up to and on election day.

The campaign plans to highlight the government's achievements in recent years and urge eligible voters to exercise their democratic right. Takuma identifies a key challenge for the national camp as boosting turnout in areas with significant right-wing support but lower voter participation rates.

According to the movement's chairman, Beraleh Krumby, the previous Knesset elections in November 2022 showed a notable difference in turnout between right-wing and left-wing leaning areas. He cited Beersheba with approximately 61% turnout compared to Givatayim with nearly 69% as an example, calling it a critical point for the upcoming elections.

Krumby stated the goal is to reach national camp supporters who typically do not vote, aiming to raise turnout in right-wing strongholds through information campaigns, field activities, and reminders about the importance of voting. The campaign will also focus on organizational efforts to maximize voter reach on election day, utilizing activists in various cities, social media, WhatsApp groups, and local communities.

This effort is part of a broader Takuma initiative to mobilize hundreds of thousands of right-wing voters to the polls. The movement emphasizes that beyond influencing public opinion, a major challenge is ensuring that voters with clear political stances actually cast their ballots.
