The 26th Tamar Festival, dedicated each year to Israeli music, will open during the Sukkot holiday at Masada and run from September 28 to October 2. Tickets are already on sale through Ticketmaster, priced at 289 to 369 shekels.
Among the main performers this year are Odia, Ravid Plotnik, HaYehudim, and the joint set by Miri Mesika and Keren Peles. The opening night on Monday will feature Marina Maximilian, then the Mesika-Peles collaboration, followed by Avraham Tal and Mosh Ben Ari, and ending with Ethnix.
The next night will include members of Full Trunk, Dudu Tassa, Sarit Hadad, Ravid Plotnik, and DJ Petra, Jonathan Schreiber. On the following day, Berry Sakharof, Noga Erez, Odia, and Tונה will perform. Thursday night’s lineup includes Jimbo J, Liran Danino, HaYehudim, Ben Tzur, and Eden Ben Zaken.
Sunrise shows on top of Masada will also be part of the festival. The first, before dawn on Tuesday, will bring together Assaf Amdursky, Shlomi Shaban, and Yael Kraus in a performance of HaChalonot HaGvohim. Later shows will feature DJs Mita Gami and Adam Ten, the band G’raffes marking 20 years since the album Gag and hosting Micha Shitrit, and a final pre-dawn set on Friday by Tikva 6, Vini Vici, and Darwish.
Additional open-air performances will be held in Ein Gedi and Nahal Tzafit, with Meni Beger, Gal De Paz, Alma Gov, and the group Shazamat.
