Arab Medical Teams to Convene Emergency Conference Against Incitement
The city of Kafr Qara will host an emergency conference next Sunday, October 4, 2026, to address rising incitement and racism targeting Arab medical professionals. The conference, titled "We Will Not Allow Incitement to Harm the Health System," aims to ensure a safe and professional environment for healthcare workers.
The event will take place at the Al-Hawarna Community Center at 7:00 PM, initiated by the Forum for Health Advancement in the Arab Community. Participating organizations include the Association of Arab Doctors in the Negev, "White Coats," "No Mental Health Without Democracy," "Healthy Israel," and the Kafr Qara Municipality.
The conference will examine the impact of increased incitement and racism on Arab doctors and medical staff, affecting their ability to perform their duties in a secure and respected setting. A lecture by Rumah Mufid of "Vic Reporter" will explore the sources of online incitement against Arab doctors, alongside addresses from prominent medical leaders.
Organizers stated the conference seeks to unify efforts against incitement, bolster the standing of Arab medical teams, and promote partnership, respect, and equality within the healthcare system. Pre-registration is required for attendees.
