Iraqi Author Defends Israel on Sky News Arabia, Stuns Host

Iraqi author and political analyst Ghaith Al-Tamimi, who resides in the UK, engaged in a heated debate on Sky News Arabia's "The Hard Question" program, expressing strong pro-Israel sentiments that reportedly shocked the host.

Al-Tamimi, known for his critical stance against Middle Eastern regimes, openly supported Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the State of Israel during the interview. When the host challenged his support for Netanyahu, Al-Tamimi responded, "When I heard Netanyahu speak at the UN, I applauded him! We applaud a true leader who is willing to fight the whole world and risk everything to protect his people, his citizens, and the dignity of his women."

He further dismantled traditional Arab narratives, telling the host that the Palestinian "occupation" is an illusion and a fantasy used to fuel division and destruction. Al-Tamimi also refuted claims about Israel's responsibility for the safety of militants in Gaza, stating unequivocally that the sole responsibility lies with the "terror leadership" of Mahmoud Abbas, not Israel.

Concluding his remarks forcefully, Al-Tamimi declared, "Our interests are with Israel! We have no interest with Abbas. This is the Arab truth."
