Content Creator Slams Violence Near Jerusalem's Damascus Gate

Content creator Yonatan Twina has strongly condemned violent incidents that occurred near Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, where young individuals were filmed assaulting an elderly Arab man and attacking security forces. Twina released a series of videos on his social media accounts denouncing the rioters, stating their actions are contrary to religious and moral values.

The footage shows dozens of young men, some in Haredi attire, violently pursuing an elderly Arab man. The man fell to the ground and was kicked by several youths before managing to escape. He was later treated for minor injuries.

"Shame, this is not Judaism," Twina stated in a viral video. He expressed deep shock at the footage, which also showed Border Police officers being injured during the unrest following the celebration of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov's yahrzeit. "Such behavior is a complete desecration of God's name and has no connection to Judaism or our values," he asserted.

Twina called for unity, asking, "When will we learn that only love, patience, and bringing hearts closer will win for us and all that we are going through?" His remarks, which have been widely shared, reflect a broader public outcry against the severe violence in Jerusalem. He urged people to reject such acts, emphasizing the importance of unconditional love and human dignity, and warning that violence and bullying lead only to destruction.
