Another Fears of Terror Infiltration from Lebanon
Two days after the infiltration of a terrorist in the Ramim Ridge area, in the eastern sector of the northern border, there is again concern about a terrorist infiltration, this time in the central sector. Residents of Zar'it were instructed to enter protected areas and remain near them until further notice, due to an unusual detection near the fence. The emergency response teams of nearby communities were also mobilized.
For many months, since the entry of IDF forces into southern Lebanon, the northern border had been relatively quiet. Now it appears that Hezbollah is trying to send cells of terrorists into Israeli territory or close to the fence in order to carry out attacks. Last time, it ended with the terrorist being identified and eliminated.
