Top Rabbis Condemn Violence Against Rabbi Feivelzon

Two prominent rabbis, Rabbi Yitzchak Silman and Rabbi Yitzchak Eichenstein, have joined a growing chorus of support for Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Feivelzon, condemning what they describe as violent persecution by extremist elements. The letters of protest follow similar statements from Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, a leading Torah authority, and the heads of the Ponevezh Yeshiva, Rabbi Gershon Eidelman and Rabbi Dov Miller.

Rabbi Silman, the head of the rabbinical court in Bnei Brak, expressed deep shock at the "severe harassment" by Rabbi Feivelzon's "extreme opponents." He stated in his letter that he was joining Rabbi Hirsch's protest against "the rampage and violence that stem from supposed zealotry but are nothing but falsehood and desecration of God's name." Rabbi Silman blessed Rabbi Feivelzon to continue his important work of disseminating Torah and proper outlook to his students.

Rabbi Eichenstein, head of the 'Yad Aaron' Yeshiva, also joined the protest, emphasizing the need to recognize the right path. He noted that Rabbi Feivelzon's students have been drawn closer to God and His Torah, proving the efficacy of his approach. Rabbi Eichenstein concluded by wishing Rabbi Feivelzon divine assistance in continuing to draw his students closer to God.
