Ten Nations Attended Netanyahu-Bin Zayed Summit in UAE
Representatives from ten countries participated in an expanded meeting following the summit between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the United Arab Emirates, a senior UAE official revealed to Channel 14. The nations present were Israel, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Morocco, Kuwait, Bahrain, Libya, Oman, and Egypt.
Initially, Netanyahu and bin Zayed met with representatives from Israel and the UAE. Subsequently, delegates from the other nine nations joined for the broader session. Mossad chief Roman Gofman, who led Israeli preparations for the meeting, accompanied Netanyahu.
The discussions primarily focused on the Iranian threat, strengthening cooperation between Israel and Gulf states, economic issues, and Israeli defense systems. Separately, the Italian newspaper Il Foglio recently reported that Saddam Haftar, son of Libyan commander Khalifa Haftar, also visited Abu Dhabi and held a secret meeting with Netanyahu, though this report has not been officially confirmed by any party.
