Ex-Partner of Israeli Entrepreneur Eli Reifman Testifies in Court

The former partner of Israeli entrepreneur Eli Reifman, a co-founder of the company "Emblaze" who has an arrest warrant issued against him abroad, has returned from Thailand and testified in court. Margarita Alter described Reifman as "filth" and stated that upon his disappearance, she was left with nothing and had to cope with constant threats and attacks. She appeared before Judge Merav Ben-Ari at the Central District Court.

Reifman was declared bankrupt in 2011, with his debts estimated at around 200 million shekels. In April 2025, an arrest warrant was issued against him at the request of his trustee, Adv. Eitan Aras, who claimed Reifman failed to transfer significant sums of money as agreed.

Following the arrest warrant, investors filed a request to appoint a temporary trustee for Altraggo, a company allegedly controlled by Alter, claiming they are owed money. The investors asserted that Reifman, despite not being a shareholder, was the "driving force" behind Altraggo, which was founded in 2020 and provides services for public corporations.

Initial reports by court-appointed trustees for Altraggo suggested the company's financial dealings were not in the best interest of investors. Alter testified that she is unaware of other parties Reifman may have defrauded through the company registered in her name. A civil examination of Alter is scheduled for next month, where she will be questioned by Aras and creditors' representatives. Reifman's current whereabouts are unknown, and he has not responded to requests for comment.
