Tiberias FC Owner Assures Players of Stability Amid Legal Battles
Arie Kalmanzon, owner of Ironi Tiberias football club, visited the team's facilities on Monday for meetings with players and staff, following a dramatic court ruling that barred Miki Betan from all club activities. Kalmanzon met with players and the professional staff in the locker room, conveying a message of stability, guaranteed salaries, and no impact on the team's sporting achievements.
Kalmanzon addressed recent legal turmoil, stating that "attempts by individuals who were banned to continue influencing from behind the scenes, to take money that does not belong to them, and even extortion attempts and account freezes caused concern about the club's future." He confirmed that the court had definitively ruled that the banned individual would have no part in the club's operations or decision-making.
To ensure continued operations and financial order, the club, in coordination with the Football Association and budget control, has appointed Adv. Liza Hadash as a financial supervisor. She will assist in daily financial management and ensure the team's stability.
Kalmanzon emphasized that salaries and budgets are secured, and the administrative and professional framework is stable. He stressed that the team's on-field achievements would not be compromised, urging the players to focus on their goal of reaching the Premier League. Kalmanzon concluded by stating his and the staff's daily presence and support for the team, encouraging them to "raise their heads and start a new path."
