Journalist Avishai Greinicz Slams "Hilltop Youth" Violence as National Danger

Israeli journalist Avishai Greinicz has sharply criticized the violence perpetrated by a group known as "Hilltop Youth," particularly in light of a recent incident in the Palestinian village of Jalud. Greinicz stated on social media platform X that for a long time, many individuals have tried to warn about the violence of this small group but have faced attacks and slander in return.

He elaborated that anyone who dared to write or warn about the "Hilltop Youth's" violence has been subjected to multi-directional attacks and defamation, including from their "media arm." Greinicz emphasized that these attacks were not limited to specific individuals or those aligned with a particular side.

"It doesn't matter if the person warning was a senior figure in the settlement enterprise, a journalist who has lived for years in Judea and Samaria, or someone who fought for us and was injured in battle in Lebanon," Greinicz wrote. He concluded with a strong message urging against ignoring the phenomenon, stating, "We must not be silent. They are a danger to the country."
