The Shin Bet alleges that Channel 12 published details of Netanyahu's trip at 9:38 PM, while his plane was still airborne and outside Israeli airspace. Netanyahu's aircraft reportedly landed at 10:27 PM.
The security service contends that the premature disclosure of the visit jeopardized Netanyahu, his delegation, and security personnel, while also potentially revealing operational methods that could increase risks for future travels. The Mossad, Israel's foreign intelligence agency, concurred, deeming the leak a serious threat to the prime minister's security and calling for it to be treated as a state security incident.

According to the Davar news outlet, Channel 12 maintained that it broadcast the information only after Netanyahu had safely returned to Israel.
