By מיקי גרינפלד

The story · English

Renewable energy company Doral, together with the Ampa Group and Nadav B. Logistics, controlled by entrepreneur Nadav Ben Layla, are expanding their data center operations. The companies are advancing the construction of a new facility in the Alon Tavor industrial zone in the Jezreel Valley, with a planned capacity of approximately 50 megawatts of IT power. The estimated investment for this project exceeds one billion shekels.

This new venture joins another data center project the three companies are developing in the Har Tuv industrial zone near Beit Shemesh, which is slated for approximately 75 megawatts of IT power. Upon completion of both projects, their combined computing capacity will reach about 125 megawatts.

Meanwhile, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange is expected to open following a night of declines on Wall Street. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.7%, the S&P 500 dropped 0.8%, and the Nasdaq Composite decreased by 0.9% on Tuesday. Oil prices are rising this morning, with Brent and WTI crude both up 1.8%. The yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds increased by one basis point to 5.25%, while the yield on 10-year Israeli government bonds stands at 4.13% after climbing 7 basis points on Tuesday.

Palo Alto Networks is showing a positive arbitrage of over 6% on the local exchange, while Nice has a negative gap of 2.5%. The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange closed negatively on Tuesday, with the TA-35 index weakening by 0.5% and the TA-125 index retreating by 0.6%, marking the second consecutive day of declines for both indices. The TA-Banks index also fell 0.5% on Thursday. Trading on Wednesday will conclude early at 2:30 PM, as is customary during intermediate festival days.
