Maccabi Tel Aviv Duo Miss Training Ahead of League Return
Maccabi Tel Aviv resumed training on Monday following the international break, preparing for their league return on October 10th against Bnei Sakhnin. Two foreign players, Aliou Badara Cissé and Hillel Weiler, were absent from the session. Cissé is still recovering from a groin injury and is not yet fit to play. Weiler also did not train as he has not yet regained full fitness. The club's professional staff aims to have both players ready for the league's resumption.
Neither Cissé nor Weiler are expected to participate in Maccabi Tel Aviv's upcoming practice match against Hapoel Jerusalem this Friday. Additionally, players involved with the senior and youth national teams will also be unavailable for the friendly.
