Families of hostages murdered in captivity issued a statement to the press from their sukkah erected in Hostages Square, responding to a Wall Street Journal report. The report alleged that Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamal contacted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu days before the October 7th massacre, warning him of an impending attack.
