Fake Reporter Exposes Bot Network Tied to Ben-Gvir's Party Attacking Rivals

The organization Fake Reporter has revealed a network of over 100 social media bots impersonating Israelis, amplifying messages from Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit party, and systematically attacking leaders of other right-wing coalition parties. The bots spread accusations such as "Winter doesn't want to investigate October 7th because he has something to hide," "Every decision by Smotrich is a disaster," and "Channel 14 is a propaganda machine serving Netanyahu."

These AI-generated accounts feature repetitive messaging and target posts to promote their election propaganda. Fake Reporter investigators traced these accounts to the office of Ofer Rosenbaum, Otzma Yehudit's campaign manager.

Ofer Winter, chairman of the 'Amcha Yisrael' party, responded to the report, stating, "I just read about the bot investigation by the Otzma Yehudit party, against me personally and against the 'Amcha Yisrael' party. Protection rackets are rampant, crime is raging, there is no decision in any arena.
