Thousands of Orders: Geely Hybrid Cars Electrify Egged Employees

Egged, Israel's largest transportation company, recently provided its employees with new private vehicles as part of a periodic fleet replacement. This week, approximately 100 Geely Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid vehicles were delivered.

The selection process saw an unusually high rate of employee preference, with over 95% of participating employees choosing the Geely plug-in hybrid model. The celebratory handover event took place at Egged's complex and was attended by Ronen Yalon, CEO of Geely Israel; Ilan Elkobsky, Head of Maintenance and Staff Services at Egged; and Alex Volfovich, Fleet Sales Manager at Geo Mobility.

Ronen Yalon stated, "The choice of over 95% of Egged employees for the Starray EM-i is a significant expression of confidence in the model and the brand. When it comes to a vehicle that accompanies the employee daily, their choice has special meaning. We are happy to welcome Egged employees to the Geely family and wish them a good and safe journey."

This initiative comes at a time when the Starray EM-i is making a significant impact on the Israeli market, having received over 5,000 orders since the beginning of the year. The model has also garnered positive reviews in comparative tests against direct competitors in the plug-in hybrid segment.
