Yeshiva Students Release New Hallel Medley Featuring Rabbi Ginsburgh and Tzemach Tzedek Melodies
Students from the Dorshei Yichudcha Yeshiva have released a new musical medley featuring melodies for the Hallel prayer. The collection combines three Hallel tunes composed by Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh with a lesser-known melody by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn, known as the Tzemach Tzedek.
The medley includes Rabbi Ginsburgh's compositions for "Makimi Me'afar Dal," "Kos Yeshuot Esa," and "Yisrael Betach Ba'Hashem," alongside the Tzemach Tzedek's "Eli Ata." The project aims to share the unique musical experience of the Hallel prayers at the yeshiva with a wider audience.
"For many years, we have had the privilege of singing Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh's special melodies for Hallel at the yeshiva, and with this medley, we have fulfilled an old dream to bring more people into the special atmosphere of Hallel here," stated representatives from the yeshiva. The medley begins with "Makimi Me'afar Dal," proceeds through "Kos Yeshuot Esa" and "Yisrael Betach Ba'Hashem," and concludes with the Tzemach Tzedek's "Eli Ata."
The yeshiva invites the public to join in the melodies and experience the atmosphere of the Hallel prayer within the yeshiva's walls, exclaiming, "L'chaim, l'chaim! With joy and good hearts."
