Israeli Reporter Slams Filmmaker Over Gaza War Narrative

Channel 12 reporter Almog Boker has publicly criticized filmmaker Yuval Abraham, accusing him of misrepresenting the realities of the conflict in Gaza. Boker took to social media platform X to challenge Abraham's views on the Israeli military's operations.

Boker presented a scenario where a Hamas militant in Gaza allegedly used a child to transfer weapons, intending to deter the IDF from attacking by exploiting the presence of a civilian. Boker labeled this act a war crime and directly addressed Abraham, stating, "Yuval Abraham, are you listening? Here is an example of a war crime. Something you understand. A terrorist in Gaza is transferring weapons via a small child so that the IDF will not attack and thwart their transfer. He is using him as a human shield."

Boker then posed a moral and operational dilemma to Abraham: "Now, you tell me: What to do? Eliminate the terrorist and the weapons even at the risk of one of his family members getting hurt, or should we wait until he uses this weapon to kill our forces, fires a rocket at our communities, or infiltrates Israel and murders children and women?"

He concluded by referencing the October 7th attacks, suggesting that the IDF's decision not to strike in the described scenario, due to the child's presence, mirrored the hesitation that led to the failures of that day. Boker accused Abraham of hypocrisy, saying, "You know, like they did on October 7th. Or perhaps you don't know. I know exactly what the terrorists in Gaza would do, we refrained because of the child. Talk to me more about genocide. Insolent."

This exchange follows previous criticisms by Boker against Abraham regarding his stance on IDF actions in Gaza.
