Netanyahu Plans Campaign Against Ofer Vinter's Party, Ignores Yoaz Hendel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's associates are preparing for crucial days in the election campaign, focusing on their strategy towards two parties: "Amcha Israel," led by Ofer Vinter, and "Miluimnikim, Kalkalit," led by Yoaz Hendel. According to Reshet TV, Netanyahu's circle is planning a significant campaign against "Amcha Israel" and Vinter, citing both personal animosity and political considerations, as reported by journalist Michael Shemesh. This campaign, expected to launch after the holidays with large street posters, is planned despite Vinter and his party's repeated declarations of support for Netanyahu's premiership.

Politically, the move aims to boost the Likud party's representation and compete with Benny Gantz's National Unity party for the largest faction in the Knesset. However, Netanyahu's concerns extend beyond "Amcha Israel." Maariv reports that Likud is also discussing its approach to "Miluimnikim, Kalkalit." Currently, Netanyahu's associates lean towards ignoring Hendel's list, which is hovering near the electoral threshold. The Likud fears that attacking Hendel and Zehava Galon's list, whose voters are largely right-wing, could inadvertently strengthen them by drawing votes away from the Likud.

Recent opinion polls indicate that both "Amcha Israel" and "Miluimnikim, Kalkalit" are on the verge of the electoral threshold, each projected to win approximately four seats.
