Maccabi Haifa's Rangy Hooray Scores Twice, Nears Career Goal Record

Maccabi Haifa player Rangy Hooray is in arguably the best form of his career, having scored a brace for his national team, Curaçao, in their 6-1 victory over Nicaragua in the CONCACAF Nations League. This marks the second consecutive match in which Hooray has scored two goals. With this performance, he has reached ten goals in 41 appearances for Curaçao, placing him fourth on the all-time national team scoring list.

Hooray is currently 11 goals behind the national team's record holder, Rangelo Janga. He also trails Leonardo and Juninho Bacuna, who have scored 17 and 15 goals respectively. As both Bacuna and Leonardo are still active players, it is unlikely Hooray will become Curaçao's all-time leading scorer.

Despite not likely breaking the scoring record, Hooray's recent performance is notable. He recently scored a penalty against Tivon, bringing his total to five goals in his last three games. The two braces against Costa Rica and Nicaragua are the first time in his senior career that Hooray has scored two goals in consecutive matches.
