Top Rabbi Warns Against Leftist Gains, Urges Haredi Support

Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, a prominent leader within the Degel HaTorah party and the Haredi public, delivered a strong speech at a pre-election rally on Sunday, vehemently opposing the political left. He stated that divine assistance is crucial to prevent the strengthening of the left, which he believes signifies a lack of divine favor. "We need great heavenly assistance today from the Holy One, blessed be He, and to prevent the lack of heavenly assistance. The lack of heavenly assistance comes from the strengthening of the left, and we must prevent the strengthening of the left as much as possible," Rabbi Hirsch declared.

He emphasized the critical need for his community to secure at least 10 Knesset seats, warning that anything less would be detrimental. "It is impossible to use the words 'it will not be like it was until now.' If, God forbid, we do not have something greater than 10 mandates for us here, it is not good! This is the only way to prevent the power of the left in the Land of Israel, this is what must be done," he asserted.

Rabbi Hirsch concluded his remarks by praying for divine help for those present and for all individuals, expressing hope for a significant victory and the sanctification of God's name. The rally was attended by Haredi Knesset members.
